Each year at the Exclusively Show, a collection of generously donated exhibitor products is organised in support of exhibition’s partner charity – the Rainy Day Trust. In 2025, exhibitors contributed nine pallets of stock, valued at nearly £15,000. These donations make a meaningful impact, helping to power the Rainy Day Trust’s vital work and fundraising efforts.

Long-serving CEO Bryan Clover described the donations as

“Both remarkable and heart-warming”.

The Rainy Day Trust sincerely appreciates every contribution and the industry’s ongoing commitment to its vital cause.

Our Supported Charity

RDT Logo

The Rainy Day Trust supports people from the home improvement and home enhancement industry when life gets tough. They provide practical help, financial assistance, training, and wellbeing support - empowering current and former workers to overcome challenges, rebuild stability, and move forward with confidence.

Established in 1843, the Rainy Day Trust has grown from supporting ironmongery and hardware workers to serving the modern home-improvement sector. They help people (and their partners) who’ve worked in builders’ merchants, DIY, hardware, potteries and glass, housewares, garden centres, and related manufacturing. They also support professional tradespeople, including plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and their apprentices or trainees.
