Charity
For the past ten years, in conjunction with Progressive Housewares, we have arranged for the collection of exhibitor’s generous donations of products to charity. This opportunity will take place once again at the end of this year’s show.
Exhibitors wishing to make a donation are requested to repack products at the end of the exhibition and take them to the press office.
- During the exhibition a photo call will be arranged for all contributors.
- This will take place at 08.45 on Wednesday, 12th June.
- Please send a company representative, with a sample of your donated products, to the press office to take part.
Our supported charity:
The Rainy Day Trust
The Rainy Day Trust is working towards a time when all those who have worked in the home improvement and enhancement industry have the funds they need to live.
Working alone and in partnership with other organisations to provide financial and other assistance to those who have fallen on hard times.
Growing from its foundations as the ironmongery and hardware trades benevolent society in 1843, Rainy Day Trust now provides support to a modern workforce. We help those (and the partners of) people who have worked in the manufacture, wholesale, retail & distribution of builders’ merchants, DIY, hardware, potteries and glass, housewares and garden centres. We also help professional tradesmen such as plumbers, carpenters, electricians and so on as well as their apprentices or trainees.
If you would like to discuss partnership opportunities for planned or surplus donations, please contact Roz Shabazz-Johnson at
The Rainy Day Trust are working with Exclusively Housewares to coordinate product donations at this year’s event and will be attending to answer any questions you may have on donations and partnership opportunities.
